What is the difference between pattern cutting and pattern grading?
Pattern cutting creates the pattern for your design in one base size. Pattern grading then scales that approved pattern up and down, so every size keeps the same shape and proportions.
What do I need to send for grading?
Your approved base pattern, the size range you need, and your size chart if you have one. If you don’t, standard UK sizes can be used.
Can you grade a pattern I already have?
Yes. If your pattern is already fitted and approved, grading is all you need.
Do I supply the fabric for the sample?
Yes, samples are made in your fabric and trims, so the sample reflects your final product.
Do you work with brands outside Manchester?
Yes. Patterns can be posted anywhere in the UK. Ask about digital files.
Will my design stay confidential?
Yes. Your designs and patterns belong to your brand and are never shared or reused.
